Student Leader Candidate:

Thank you for your interest in being a Student Leader at Rockford University! The various Student Leadership positions available will challenge you to meet new people, develop leadership skills, and polish your time management skills, but more than anything it will allow you to make a positive impact on the Rockford University campus for yourself and others.

The first step towards holding one of the Student Leadership positions begins with reviewing the job descriptions and selecting the positions you are interested in applying for through the use of this common application. Your application will provide us with more information about your abilities in the academic, involvement, leadership, and social areas of your Rockford University experiences. The entire selection process is designed to find the right individuals to complete the various Student Leadership Teams within Student Life at Rockford University to best serve our students.

Your application is due no later than 5:00 pm on December 11, 2025.

Following this letter are important dates for the Student Leader selection processes. Please take the time to look through all of the materials before getting started. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to stop by the Student Life Suite in Burpee Student Center. Good luck in the selection processes and once again thank you for your interest.

- November 3rd: Applications available on Rockford.edu/StudentLeadership
December 2025
- December 11th: Applications due by 5:00 pm
- December 12th: Interviewing Scheduling
January 2026
- January 21st: Student Leader Group Processing from 6:00-8:00 pm
- January 22nd: Student Leader Group Processing from 6:00-8:00 pm

February 2026
- February 13th: Offer Letters sent to student via email
- February 20th: Online acceptance letters due
April 2026
- April 2nd: 2026-2027 Student Leadership meeting – time to be determined
